ONE GREAT BIG LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT MORINGA OLEIFERA

Our Moringa Oleifera is an ADAPTOGEN :  So what are Adaptogens??? Moringa Oleifera, one of several herbs entitled Adaptogens, works to bring the body to a balanced state of health – capable of toning down or strengthening the activity of the body’s hyper functioning systems, depending on your body’s needs.

Adaptogens are a natural substance that works with a person’s body and helps them to adapt, most notably to stress.  Adaptogens are a natural ally in dealing with persistent stress and fatigue because they work with regulating hormones.

A unique group of herbal ingredients, adaptogens are used to improve the health of your adrenal system, the system that’s in charge of managing your body’s hormonal response to stress.  They help strengthen the body’s response to stress and enhance its ability to cope with anxiety and fight fatigue - slowly and gently, without jolts or crashes.

The seeds, leaves, pods and oils of the Moringa plant are used globally as an ingredient in many common dishes.  As part of traditional medicine, it supports the immune response, eases swelling and promotes energy and adrenal health.

First of all, it’s important to understand that stress is only meant to exist in short bursts.  When your adrenal system remains in a constant active state, it throws your body out of balance.  Constant stress can wreak havoc on your body, especially on your digestive system and energy levels. Adaptogens keep your body’s stress response at a desirable level.  They’re good for you all the time, not just when you have a high level of stress.

They’re called adaptogens because of their unique ability to “adapt” their function according to your body’s specific needs.  Though the effects may initially be subtle and take time to make themselves felt, they’re real and undeniable.

Several other health benefits include:

·         A boost for the immune system

·         Support for managing a healthy weight

·         Increased physical endurance and mental focus

·         Reduction in discomfort caused by poor health

·         Encouraging a balance mood

Most people don’t realize there are about 80,000 different chemicals being dumped into our environment on a regular basis and we are inhaling, absorbing or ingesting them, which brings them to the attention of the body police, the immune system.  Our second largest organ, the liver, is involved in most of the millions of physiological processes in the body and known to carry out more than five hundred functions.  Probably the best known function of the liver is detoxification.

Toxins accumulate in our tissues when the immune system cannot handle the load and the liver becomes less efficient and unable to carry out needed functions successfully.  When liver function is affected or there are increasing amounts of toxins in our blood stream we experience headaches, skin rashes, fatigue, constipation, flatulence, bloated feelings, exacerbated allergic reactions, hormonal dysfunction and weight gain.

When you take Moringa, the adaptogen targets the most critical area of that person’s need.  People who work in a toxic environment, consume drugs, drink alcohol or smoke should examine their lifestyle, past or present, and may realize that immediate intervention is occurring within their bodies.

Consuming Moringa over time as an important lifestyle change will eventually provide results with other health issues and accomplish even more positive changes in many persistent chronic problems.

Vegan and Vegetarian Diets Carry Health and Environmental Benefits

The Vegan Diet

Ranked No. 19 by the U.S. News & World Report, is the diet of a Vegan. It is also on the top ten list as a best weight-loss diet, heart-healthy diet and best diabetes diet. The vegan diet eliminates all animal and dairy products; this includes eggs from a person's diet. This also means no gelatin products as they are made from animal bones and hooves. Vegans load their diets with leafy greens, whole grains, seeds, fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes.

Animal products are the most common source of protein and iron so the vegans have a hard time finding an alternative fix; it isn't impossible though.  Moringa, being a superfood with protein, is an amazing source of protein for vegans.  It is organic, natural and is growing in popularity being highly sought out by vegans.

A Growing Vegan and Vegetarian Community

Did you know that some countries help vegetarians because of their beliefs and cultures? For example, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations reported that India consumes less meat than any other country and partly because of their religion. It was estimated that one person may consume 3 times less meat compared to one person in the United States.

A vegetarian can travel to India and can rest assure that they will not run into any problems finding meat-free dishes. That is mainly due to the fact that 80% of the population are vegetarians.

India is only one of the countries with the highest population of vegans or vegetarians. We can mention Ethiopia, Israel, and Spain among other countries. Vegan restaurants are becoming more popular and are definitely growing in the United States adapting some of the other countries' dishes and recipes. The vegetarian community is growing and they are on the rise in the United States.

Healthy Meals for Better Sleep

Sleep is an essential activity in a person's life and without enough sleep a person is unable to concentrate as he or she goes through their normal day.  The amount of sleep an individual needs to feel rested varies from person to person.  On average, it is usually eight hours.  Some people can get sufficient rest from less than eight hours while others need more than eight hours.

What a person eats throughout the day contributes to the quality of sleep he or she is going to have.  A diet that has more of carbohydrates and fats will lead to a person oversleeping and not feeling rested.  As a person wakes up, they will feel tired and almost exhausted because of the restful sleep.  A person’s diet with more proteins and fruits will lead to a healthier lifestyle and for better sleep at nights.

Simply the Right Protein Supplement

Undeniably a person can be healthy by simply eating the right foods. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that you have to exercise to be fit and toned. Reality is that a large number of people live hectic schedules and most often do not allow for enough time to plan a meal much less plan a healthy meal.

In the case where you rush through meals you cannot go wrong with adding protein supplements. This can be crucial to your health particularly when you do not get the nutrients, proteins, vitamins and healthy benefits from your regular meals. It can get confusing and at times frustrating trying to find the best foods, recipes and supplements that you need and can also sit well in your stomach. Find the protein or foods that do not leave you bloated.
